Dr. Parnell Hagerman has spent her life advising and counseling young people as well as her own family. She obtained a doctorate in Psychology and Education at the University of Massachusetts and went on to be Associate Director of Admissions at DeerfieldAcademy for 12 years and Director of Admissions at The Hotchkiss School for another 12 years. She has taught, coached and administrated at independent schools and raised 4 daughters who have attended Hotchkiss, Deerfield, Dartmouth, Middlebury, Harvard and Virgina and who played field hockey, ice hockey, soccer and lacrosse at the ECAC and NCAA National Championship levels. Her knowledge and expertise in counseling and advising young people and their parents on a host of issues is unparalleled. She admitted hundreds of young people to very selective academic and extra curricular programs at the secondary school level and is very knowledgeable about programs to enhance your child’s potential in the development of that educational edge.

Jamie Hagerman began her primary education at DeerfieldAcademy where she played soccer, ice hockey and lacrosse. Upon graduating from Deerfield, she went on to HarvardUniversity where she played ice hockey and lacrosse. During her career at Harvard she also was fortunate enough to be part of the USA Hockey family when she was named to the Under-22 National Team which participated in a Christmas tour in Frankfurt, Germany. After that Jamie spent the last 7 years with the US team playing on various teams and in various countries. Her most notable experience took place this past February where she and her teammates took home a bronze medal after defeating Finland 4-0. Jamie has been surrounded by many of the greatest minds in athletics throughout her career and has developed a great passion for athlete development both physically and mentally. She has been injured, told she cannot make the team and often times feeling as if hanging up the skates was the easiest thing. Well she decided against that and as she sets her sights on getting back with her US teammates she hopes to show other athletes how exciting the world of competitive athletics truly is.
